MC-008 Material Sensing Engine

Material sensing requires extreme AI computational horsepower.  The MC-008 is a new breed of AI material sensing engine built to enable neural networks to execute at ultra-low power and live at the edge of the IoT. This hardware-based AI accelerator enables battery powered application as well as a cloud-based AI network processor. 

The sensing engine is based on a 100MHz ARM Cortex and several high-bandwidth interfaces to access off-chip flash, including an Octal/Quad SPI interface with an on-the-fly decryption engine. In addition, it has a rich set of peripherals, integrated security* and extremely low-power consumption with reduced power modes and fast wake-up times.
